(DE) Die Beobachtung zeigt: Kunst ist oft heteronormativ geprägt, ebenso wie ihre Kuration. Alte Männer erklären uns alte Kunst und alte Lebensweisen – sei es im Vatikan oder im städtischen Bergbaumuseum. Die klassische Museumsführung bleibt ein fester Bestandteil jedes Museums. Doch welche Perspektive kann man einnehmen, wenn der*die Tour Guide unberechenbar ist und heteronormative Narrative durchbrochen werden? In meiner Performance hinterfrage ich die Perspektive des Tour Guides. Lassen Sie sich durch unsere kleine Ausstellung führen und hinterfragen Sie die unsichtbaren Perspektiven, die traditionelle Tour Guides oft vermitteln.

(EN) How art was explained to me (by men). A situated guided tour

Observation shows that art is often heteronormative, as is its curation. Old men explain old art and old ways of life to us – in the Vatican or in a mining museum. The classic museum tour guide remains an integral part of every museum. But what perspective can we adopt when the tour guide is unpredictable and heteronormative narratives are disrupted? In my performance, I question the perspective of the tour guide. Let yourself be guided through our small exhibition and question the invisible perspectives that traditional tour guides often convey.

Obserwacja pokazuje, że sztuka jest często heteronormatywna, podobnie jak jej kuratorzy. Starsi mężczyźni wyjaśniają nam starą sztukę i stare sposoby życia – czy to w Watykanie, czy w miejskim muzeum górnictwa. Klasyczna wycieczka muzealna, pozostaje integralną częścią każdego muzeum. Ale jaką perspektywę możemy przyjąć, gdy przewodnik jest nieprzewidywalny, a heteronormatywne narracje zostają przełamane? Mój występ krytykuje perspektywę przewodnika. Daj się poprowadzić przez naszą małą wystawę i zanalizuj niewidzialne perspektywy, które często przekazują tradycyjni przewodnicy.
